(2017-05-23) ===== Summary of the overall presentation ===== This is my attempt at the simplest possible portrayal of a simple man. I try to avoid any particular characteristics of a regional or chronological categorisation. It is therefore a basic depiction for Central Europe from 900-1100, which I can adapt regionally and chronologically by subsequently adding jewellery or tools. * **Clothing:** * Linen tunic (tied with a leather belt with an iron tongue), linen breeches and woollen leg warmers (worn with a simple leather belt), simple half-round woollen cap, madder-red woollen scarf, woollen nalbinding socks and simple half-height leather shoes. * Jewellery * - * **Equipment** * Knife with goatskin sheath * **tools** * - ===== The presentation in detail ===== Insert pictures ==== Linen tunic ==== Finding / Cut: Material: hemp, 1/1 plain weave, semi-sheer, linen yarn Notes: ==== Leather belt with iron tongue ==== Finding / pattern: Material: cowhide, iron Notes: ==== Linen Bruche ==== Find / Cut: Material: hemp, 1/1 plain weave, semi-bleached, linen yarn Notes: ==== Wool leg warmers ==== **Finding / pattern:** Modelled on a leg warmer from Haithabu ((Kania, Katrin: Kleidung im Mittelalter.
