Blindside. * Aim: Take out opponent spears * Execution: Standing in the safety of the opponent's range and when the opponent attacks, you counter his attack. * Advantage/Disadvantage : You are safe when your are not attacking, but your selection of targets is limited. ==== Offensive ==== * Position: In the line * Aim: Doing what spears does best, kill * Execution: Standard spear fighting * Advantage/Disadvantage: Lots of opponents to hit, but you are vulnerable to counterattacks and snipers ==== Defensive ==== * Position: In the line → Behind the line * Aim: Staying alive, but still keeping pressure on the opponens * Execution: Standing almost in line but only targeting the shields * Advantage/Disadvantage: You are safe when your are not attacking, but your selection of targets is limited ==== Sniper ==== * Position: Out of the line, and steps in to attack. Blindside. Flanking * Aim: Kill inattentive opponents * Execution: Are completely out of line, with full visibility. When seeing an inattentive opponent, or an opportunity to attack from the blind side, attacked there. * Advantage/Disadvantage: Can remove key personnel from the line. Requires overview. It takes time to move around the line. Less effective if opponents presses. ==== Machine gun ==== **Offensive/Defensive** * Position: In the Line * Aim: To put pressure on opponents, either by breaking pressure from the opponents or to put pressure on them when your line attacks. * Execution: The spear attacks in a wide range and hitting as many spots as possible(**Suppressing fire)**. Not necessarily to kill, but to slow down the opponent or put maximum pressure on them * Advantage/Disadvantage: You can put enormous pressure on the opponent, but you become an easy target for Counterattacks or Sniper. ==== Frontline Attacker ==== * Position: In the line or even in front of it * Aim: Using **Suppressing fire **to get the opponent to be defensive and there by having the ability to control the fight. * Execution: Be aggressive and dominate the opponent, so they can not attack * Advantage/Disadvantage: If you are good, you have control and can singlehandedly put pressure on many opponents. But you are very exposed and is a prime target. ==== Assist spear (teamwork) ==== * Position: Close to an other spear. * Aim: Through teamwork killing opponents * Execution: Working with direct opponent, either by opening the shielding or by luring the spear forward in the line. So that your teammate can make the kill. * Advantage/Disadvantage: You can hit opponents who are skilled defensive. Requires training in coordination and cooperation. ===== Opsumering ===== * Choose a spear that fits your style * Know and use the different styles * Learn to alternate between Intuitive and Analytical fighting * The spear is a highly specialized weapons, and not a peasant weapon
