Skills of a group

The following scale system is in no way intended to be used for authoritarian grading, where only unrevealing numbers are distributed hastily. Rather, it serves as an illustration and as a tool to make communication and goal setting in training a little more concrete.

The different skills of a group were divided into three rough and three fine categories according to the assessed level of difficulty. In addition, there is an additional category for „unsure“, resulting in a scale with 10 levels. This is useful for self-assessment, in setting up training and in balancing page divisions.

This scale refers to the regular use of a group on the pitch. Special tasks such as skirmish, spear reserve, puncher have once again extended requirements and are in the best case specialisations at master level.

As a rule, groups are sorted into three rough levels according to their abilities. Then it is seen whether they have unconditional mastery of all the skills attributed to the level at all times within the levels, or whether the skills are available in a limited way. So that ultimately 9 levels of safe fencing can be distinguished.

The scale is as follows: Schematic representation: skills-table

Level 0 means unsafe / unsafe.
This also means, for example, that there can be no well-placed hit if the opponent is driven back carelessly and the opponent then trips over an obstacle.
