 +====== Skills of a group ======

+The following scale system is in no way intended to be used for authoritarian grading, where only unrevealing numbers are distributed hastily. Rather, it serves as an illustration and as a tool to make communication and goal setting in training a little more concrete.
 +
+The different skills of a group were divided into three rough and three fine categories according to the assessed level of difficulty. In addition, there is an additional category for "unsure", resulting in a scale with 10 levels. This is useful for self-assessment, in setting up training and in balancing page divisions.
 +
+This scale refers to the regular use of a group on the pitch. Special tasks such as skirmish, spear reserve, puncher have once again extended requirements and are in the best case specialisations at master level.
 +
+As a rule, groups are sorted into three rough levels according to their abilities. Then it is seen whether they have unconditional mastery of all the skills attributed to the level at all times within the levels, or whether the skills are available in a limited way. So that ultimately 9 levels of safe fencing can be distinguished.
 +
 +The scale is as follows:
 +{{ :theoretisches:faehigkeiten_tabelle_01.png?nolink |Schematic representation: skills-table}}
 +
 +
 +Level 0 means unsafe / unsafe. \\
+This also means, for example, that there can be no well-placed hit if the opponent is driven back carelessly and the opponent then trips over an obstacle.
 +

+====== Basic commands that a group should master: =====
 +
 +**Standard** \\
+"Line!", "Slow forward - march [:and forward:]", "Halt!", "Closed formation", "Forward - march", "Right/left falls".
 +
 +**Advanced** \\
+"Open formation", "Right/left/turn" "Hold line" "Retreat" "Align line", "One/2/3/4/5" step/s forward - march (and forward)", "Push and forward (Push)"
 +
 +**Masterly** \\
+"Wide open formation", "Form (re-form)", "On the run - march", "Fall back" (backwards), "In position", "I give up".
 +
+===== Groups basic understanding of the line =====
 +
 +A group should ...
 +
 +**Standard** \\
+...be able to form and balance a line.
 +
 +**Advanced** \\
+...be able to stay together and carry out joint initiatives.
 +
 +**Masterful** \\
+...control the space in which the group moves.
 +

 +
 +===== Group skills =====
 +
+(The skills are also sorted by difficulty in the categories).
 +
 +**Standard** \\
+  * be able to walk as a line
+  * arrive at the opponent together
 +  * stop together
+  * align with the opponent
+  * keep the same distance to the opponents (also in combat)
+  * keep the same width to the opponent
 +
 +
 +**Advanced** \\
+  * As a group, distribute tasks in the line and act accordingly (front, second row, flank, reserve, runner, command, puncher).
+  * Maintaining the connection and cohesion of the line together when moving forward and in combat (cohesion).
+  * Hold the position for a time even when outnumbered.
+  * Correct the distances and alignment to the next man independently, even in the case of losses.
+  * Integrate reserves into the line without losses.
+  * Being able to allow reserves behind the line (even when shorthanded in the front row [without grumbling]).
 +
 +
 +
 +**Masterful** \\
+  * Run fast as a group and arrive together without changing formation significantly.
+  * Taking different distances in different sections of the line.
+  * Exchanging positions during the fight connection.
+  * Move backwards in combat engagement and continue to fight successfully. (Do not go on the defensive).
+  * Distribute tasks in the line independently and automatically and also redistribute them in combat (+ rear guard, skirmishers).
+  * Drop manoeuvres (slow regrouping by name call in combat attachment).
+  * Exchange positions during combat attachment.
+  * Leaving the enemy with casualties and fleeing to a predetermined objective.
+  * Perform a left or right shift in combat engagement.
+  * Execute a reform with a newly ordered formation.
+  * Control space despite being outnumbered.
 +
 +
 +
+===== Basic ideas of a line fighter: =====
 +
 +**Standard** \\
+  * Close combatants: self and external cover
 +  * Overview (long weapons: cross-guard)
+  * The triangle (no popcorn)
+  * Being an "aircraft carrier
 +
 +
 +**Advanced** \\
+  * Balancing the line through support and language
 +  * Exploding properly
 +  * Shifting
 +  * Free play
 +
 +**Masterful** \\
+  * Space buys time and time buys space
 +  * Barrel triangle
+  * Long arms: Steer the line (without speech)
 +  * Stripping
 +  * Shadow strike
 +  * Cross Draw
