900-1100, Central Europe, Simple, (Friedrich)
The pictures were taken during the castle revival 2018 in Vechta. (2017-05-23)
Summary of the overall presentation
This is my attempt at the simplest possible portrayal of a simple man. I try to avoid any particular characteristics of a regional or chronological categorisation. It is therefore a basic depiction for Central Europe from 900-1100, which I can adapt regionally and chronologically by subsequently adding jewellery or tools.

Outlook
- My current goal is to include more references in my presentation description.

- I want to make it clear where sources are missing.
- I want to replace the linen undergarments with wool, as this is more appropriate according to my current knowledge.
- I want to clarify how suitable neckerchiefs are.
- I would like to clarify whether knives and pouches are worn over or under the tunic.
